Paris Paris

Somehow I've gotten really bad at this blogging thing after a 1 year hiatus. I don't know what to write anymore. Am semi excited today though since we just bought tickets to Paris for Valentines day! I mean Chinese New Year :P Will be meeting up with the in-laws for the annual Peck Family European extravaganza lol

Since this was kinda last minute, there's gonna be lots of planning to do. Hmm a little bummed that it will be cold brrr, Cali has made me weak. What to do what to do. Suggestions welcome!

FML

I've recently been obsessed with FML. I like it so much, I downloaded the iphone app so I can take it with me on the go. Today I was triple excited when I discovered the Sl0an FML site. I even decided to dedicate a blog entry to it .... FML

Oh and here's a really good one!

Herro Kitty !

OMG check out what was parked next to us at Ranch 99 (where else right?!). A Kitty mobile. License plate "Herro Kitty". Kid you not! Secretly I am in love with this car. The hot pink wheels with hello kitty air caps are to die for.

Oh and speaking of kitty, I also saw recently that Zales has a collection of Hello Kitty jewelry. Now I'm not a big fan of Zales aka ghetto mall brand. It's not even "A kiss begins with Kay"! Haha but this Zales collection is pretty impressive. I want ....



And for my iphone! But it's already out of stock :( OK I am only half serious about the phone cover. Imagine whipping that out at work haha

Road Trip to Sacramento

So my poor blog has been neglected for almost a year =( Must REVIVE since I kinda enjoyed reading about my fun former younger life! Haha anyhoo it's Thanksgiving weekend finally! We headed up to Sacramento since hubs wanted to catch some photos of salmon leaping upstream. Of course when we got there we found that the salmon were already done jumping or whatever :p So what's there to do in the state capital?

Nothing really tho the state house was kinda grand. I did wangle in a trip to the Vacaville outlets tho and made off with some spoils muahaha .... for a later post.

The Grossest Dog

I met what could possibly be the most disgusting dog alive today. This german shepard at the park. Every few minutes (I kid u not) it would dunk it's large head in a tub of water then slobber jump or put it's filthy paws on u. Arrghkkkk!!!!

Panic Attacks

Every other day or so I get a panic attack. Mostly because I look around our apartment and there is still so much stuff in it! Arghk! Don't think I've announced it officially but you probably know that we're leaving Boston (sniff) for sunnier climates the week after next.

This explains the fire sale at our apartment. No, I did not use Lehman stock as collateral for my school loans haha.

I want a new puppy!

My car had a flat battery but the trip down to the mechanic was all worthwhile because he got a cute puppy! A brown siberian husky that is adorable. I predict his business will get better haha.

Max (the puppy was teething) Except it was teething and got its little toothpick teeth all over my hands. Ouch! Max was also squirming around constantly. I've forgotten what it's like to have a puppy.

More Goodbyes

P said goodbye to his beloved TT of 6 years this weekend. I have no idea why he looks so happy in the photo! :P Maybe he's putting on a brave face. Hurhur.

I didn't think we'd find a buyer so soon but I suppose we only have 3 weeks to go. So now that we're sharing a car, I have to drive P to work and home everyday if I want to have access to the car! Arghk...I am so not a morning person.

The process was relatively painless and we got the KBB value for the car. All I can say is I <3 craigslist!

Goodbye Desk

I sold my desk today. I was excited to get $120 for it since I've had it for a while (6 years?)! I like to attribute that to my timeless taste in furniture? :)

Everytime someone buys a piece of furniture from us however, I feel a tinge of regret. With this desk, it's because it was particularly hard to find. I was on a black kick a while back and it was quite the task trying to locate black colored furniture in Boston back then (no Ikea). Now I have to list the rest of my black furniture haha. I have a black dresser and bed side table to sell as well.

Oh well, on to newer and better furniture!
